Chef Chrissy Joy — known to her clients simply as Chef Chrissy — built this business from the ground up, fueled by her deep Southern Creole roots and an obsession with quality that she refuses to compromise. What started as intimate gatherings for close friends and family quickly grew into a full-service luxury catering operation serving Houston's most discerning clientele.
Today, Chrispea Catering serves weddings, corporate events, private dinners, and families across Texas and nationwide. Chef Chrissy still personally oversees every menu, every plate, and every event — because to her, catering isn't a transaction. It's a craft.

A Houston-based culinary artist with over a decade of experience, she has built her reputation on one simple conviction: food made with love tastes different. Her menus are a love letter to the Southern Creole traditions she grew up with, elevated with contemporary techniques and an eye for luxury presentation.
She is equally at home orchestrating an elegant plated dinner for 200 wedding guests as she is crafting an intimate six-course tasting menu in a client's private dining room. Her clients — ranging from Houston's executive class to families across the country — trust her not just with their events, but with their most meaningful moments.
